Comet Climb

This title is a simplistic space themed level-based puzzle platformer that only uses a basic walk and platform-swap jump mechanic as a basis for traversal and completing levels.

It is centered around an astronaut looking to find the best telescope spots to see a rare once-in-a-lifetime comet while out in space. 

Players are loaded into bite-sized puzzle platforming stages where the end goal is illustrated by a telescope. The puzzle aspect of the gameplay comes in the form of the main mechanic of the game: the platform-swap jump. In essence, every time the player jumps, alternating sets of platforms/hazards will phase in and out of existence for the player to use/avoid throughout the level. Effective use of the swappable terrain paired with the player’s jump maneuvering is key to reaching the end of every level.
